As some may know, I’m a financial, active, and quite proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. For the past 5 years since my initiation into the sorority, being a part of the sisterhood has been instrumental to my life and to my work as a photographer in more ways than most can imagine. When my sorority sisters of the neighboring Phi Psi Zeta Chapter of Lewisville, Texas inquired about having photographs taken of their 10th Anniversary Brunch at Hubbard Hall on Texas Woman’s University’s campus, I gladly accepted.
The Phi Psi Zeta Chapter was chartered in 2008 in Lewisville. Since chartering, this chapter has donated thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving high school students and even more hours in providing service to Lewisville, TX as well as some of Dallas, Collin, and Denton Counties.
It was an honor to be able to capture an event commemorating 10 years of embodying Zeta’s principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood in the Metroplex.
Here’s to more years of Service to you all, ladies. Keep light of Zeta shining bright wherever you go! Check out more images from this event in the slideshow below.
