Lead Photographer
"I gots a story to tell..."   Rhedeont Photography began as an idea conceived by my husband, Darryl D. Smith, and I over one too many cups of coffee and Arnold Palmers in Raleigh, NC, in 2011. Within that year, I shot my first three weddings.  Why?  At the time, I just needed some gas money. Seven years and dozens of gigs later, that idea and purpose became something greater. Rhedeont Photography has grown into a brand with infusing a colorful, energetic, and cinematic style into wedding, portrait, fashion, and lifestyle commissions. Also, my "why" grew from getting some gas money to sincerely enjoying the process of documenting examples of authentic love, creativity, and happiness when most are bombarded with the opposite from various outlets. I'm not just a photo nerd - I'm passionate about connecting with people through photography.  Knowing that this platform has created a big impact on my professional and personal life over the past decade, it's my #1 goal to ensure that my photography creates that same impact for a lifetime with clients. When I'm not behind my camera, I can be found with "husbae" and/our our furkids (also known as "the X-Mutts") in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  I also enjoy traveling, graphic design, collecting Funko Pops, listening to countless hours the Bodega Boys podcast, and rooting feverishly for North Carolina State University Athletics to be great. I can also whip up a pretty good cheesecake that would make P.Diddy walk a few blocks for it.  Just sayin...
