We may have not been around much on the internet (ha), but 2017 was a great year for us. \u00a0And what\u2019s a great year without a few favorite shots of ours?<\/div>\n

Instead of doing everything in one post, we want to highlight each of our favorite photos taken during the year in the form of a blog series to get us back into the swing of things.<\/div>\n

\nGrooms need some love too, right?<\/p>\n

Krystal and Chris’ Harlem Renaissance themed wedding worked wonderfully with the\u00a0Aloft Dallas Downtown.\u00a0 From the outfits down to the design of the ceremony and reception space.<\/p>\n

One thing that worked greatly in my favor was being able to shoot in spaces that had large windows during the day.\u00a0 This paved way for some great shots with natural lighting, especially this one.\u00a0 When I walked to the room the guys were getting prepared, the area around the corner from there was ideal to capture a few shots of Chris.\u00a0 This remains as one of my top favorite groom shots to date.<\/p>\n

If there were three words to describe this shot, I’d say “smooth, but driven.”<\/p><\/div>\n
