<\/p>\nLast year was one for the books.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It was the year of highs and lows.\u00a0 Beautiful arrivals and tragic departures.\u00a0 Challenging struggles and satisfying rewards.\u00a0 The Cubs winning a World Series in thrilling fashion and the Warriors blowing a 3-1 lead in the Finals.<\/p>\n

For us, however, our theme of 2016 can be summed up in one word:\u00a0 growth.\u00a0 It sounds clich\u00e9.\u00a0 I mean \u2013 what human doesn\u2019t grow somewhat.\u00a0 To grow is essentially to live.\u00a0 For us, we took that word seriously.<\/p>\n

In our 5th<\/sup> year of being\u00a0pro photographers, we\u2019ve learned more, changed more, and did more about ourselves tgis year.\u00a0 Whether it be switching our style of photography, taking a little more time to perfect our craft, changing our business philosophy and structure, or tidying up our layout \u2013 we undoubtedly grew more as photographers than any other year.<\/p>\n \u00a0 Sure, there were challenges.\u00a0 Plenty of them.\u00a0 There isn\u2019t a year that doesn\u2019t have them.\u00a0 Even with the negatives, some highlights included shooting our first wedding overseas ever as well as our first published feature in some time (which you view here).\u00a0 While we didn\u2019t get to shoot as many weddings compared to 2015, we improved the quality of our work by tenfold.\u00a0 The amount of quality relationships we made among our peers increased.\u00a0 Finally, we opened our first photography studio space together.<\/p>\n Our goals have never been bigger going into the New Year.\u00a0 Nonetheless, we\u2019re pretty excited about what\u2019s in store for us.\u00a0 For those that helped make 2016 a special one for us, we sincerely thank you.\u00a0 Here\u2019s to more growth in 2017.\u00a0 We can all surely use some.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.rhedeont.com\/photo\/files\/2017\/01\/rockinwiththegeralds-676-2.jpg?resize=401%2C600\")
