During the month of August, one of our less busier months of the year, I had a random thought while driving home from a meeting. \u00a0It had been some time since we shot photos with people wearing their favorite NFL team \u2026 or team<\/span>s<\/b>, if you\u2019re either terribly indecisive or a front runner. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0It was also quite a bit since we did a portrait series for fun. \u00a0Mostly for the sake of keeping our creative juice flowing. \u00a0So what did we come up with? \u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u201cThink of Humans of New York, but much more light-hearted and with sports.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Darryl and I are pretty big football fans. \u00a0It was only right that we wanted to take a break from the norm and photograph fellow fans with the season kicking off, well, today. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When the question was posted on social media, the responses completely caught us off-guard. \u00a0Don\u2019t let this sample size of photos fool you – we couldn\u2019t tell you how many people wanted to get involved.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to believe that we had so many mini-sessions done in less than 3 weeks time. \u00a0While we couldn’t\u00a0get every team, it was more than great to take a break away from the norm of shooting predominantly weddings by doing this very photo series. \u00a0Would we do this again? \u00a0You bet.<\/p>\n

Next time, we\u2019re definitely aiming for photographing fans of all teams and not just a handful. \u00a0We\u2019ll make some kind of announcement much later on down the line for a second part to this series. \u00a0For now, we hope you enjoy these.<\/p>\n
