Smith and Kali Rhe Rogers. Here is why the photo was chosen in their words:<\/p>\n<p>Every now and then, sports has a comeback story. None is more impressive to me than the<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"> Grambling State women&#8217;s soccer team beating Louisiana Tech in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Grambling started the game with only 10 players, compared to Tech&#8217;s 19. Tech jumped to a quick 2-0 lead in the game, and it seemed that it would be a blowout loss for the Tigers. But, they kept fighting and fighting, eventually scoring 2 goals in the last four minutes of the game, sending it to overtime. Shortly after the start of overtime, the game-winner was scored by Chelsea Miller.<\/p>\n<p>This photo is what happened after the game-winner was scored, as the tired and exhausted players celebrated their hard-earned victory. Three players appeared to get hurt during the game, but they stayed on and kept fighting for the G.<\/p>\n<p>This is a true testament of never giving up, and the Lady Tigers won despite all the odds.
