Here is why the photo was chosen in their words:<\/p>\n<p>If there&#8217;s one photo that I think captures the eclectic personalities of Raleigh-based music ensemble The Balance, this has to be one of them. I owe a lot to these guys for helping me grow in music and concert photography, two of my absolute favorite things to shoot.<\/p>\n<p>The Balance was one of several artists I shot regularly for while getting back into the photography groove in Raleigh. I had very little equipment on me for this relatively quick shoot following band practice, but it worked out well.
